Hypnos is a British family-run mattress and bed manufacturer. Peter Keen, the current Chairman, is the fourth generation to run the business, his son, James (Chief Executive Officer), and daughter, Sarah, are the fifth generation of Keens to help run the company on a day-to-day basis.

Hypnos is proud to be the only bed manufacturer to have won the National Bed Federation’s “Bed Manufacturer of the Year” three times, in 2011/12, 2014/15 and 2017/18. Hypnos also gained the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade in 2017 and for Sustainable Development in 2020.

Today, sustainability is at the heart of their business and runs through everything we do. Over the past 11 years we’ve undergone a comprehensive sustainability journey that saw us become the first carbon-neutral bedmaker in the world, and more recently saw us receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.
