Founded in 1985, Kentec is an end-to-end manufacturer, employing around 240 members of staff in its production facility, head office and research and development departments. Today Kentec is a wholly-owned subsidiary (and stand-alone business) of the Hochiki Corporation based in Japan with 100 years of heritage in the fire industry.
