Report a lost or stolen device

If you’ve lost your device or it’s been stolen, it’s very important you let Vodafone know as soon as you realise. You should also wipe the device of personal information.

The sooner you let Vodafone know, the sooner they can block your account and stop anyone racking up ‘unauthorised charges’. If you don’t report your phone missing within 5 calendar days, you may have to pay all charges made outside of your allowance.

If you report your phone missing within 24 hours, the maximum you’ll need to pay for any unauthorised charges outside of your allowance is £100.

If you miss the 24-hour window but report your phone missing within 5 calendar days, the maximum you’ll need to pay for any unauthorised charges outside of your allowance is £500.
